Wonder if we can get in the Boston trade, with them getting CP3, us getting Rondo (apparently NO is not hot on him), and NO getting multiple assets. For a guy like Rondo, I don't mind sending any assets, including Patterson / Lowry. Maybe something like Boston gets CP3, NO gets Lowry, Green (from Boston), Patterson, Kmart, and we get Rondo + pick (from Boston?). I know its a lot to give up, but at least Rondo is a legit piece to build around
After literally the longest 3 days of my life (and I had swine flu so thats saying a lot) I will now focus my hopes on landing a couple lotto's and drafting the UConn duo!
please lock this thread. its already depressing to us we been on here and im pretty sure some people didnt sleep and only slept couple hours by there laptops, computer etc. !
What possible deals to turn Martin and Scola into expiring contracts and draft picks do you have in mind? Seriously, because maybe we should do that ourselves then. And what young players do we have that you actually think Orlando would move Howard for as opposed to do so for Bynum (and perhaps Pau)? Buddhinger, Lee's expiring contract, Patterson...no way.
It's snowy day in July when something really good happens in Houston Sports. Wait the Texans are winning; it is a snowy day in July!
hmmm.. would the rockets do a deal for chris paul? makes me wonder cause it wasn't the rockets who pulled out.... just sayin...
I think the Rockets are good enough to make the playoffs as is, and would have after the trade too... What I don't think is that either of the teams would be good enough to be a contender in the WC. With or without Nene and Pau.......honestly, I thought it was clearing some of the overfill of players, and treading water. Now, this team still has too many players at the same positions....we need to trade some of our guys for future draft picks.... DD
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=cd8utso Magic could end up with Martin/Scola/Bynum. Rocekts end up with Pau Gasol. Lakers end up with Howard/Turkoglu/Redick.
