So wait, was David Stern even involved in this...I mean I'm not even sure that a second proposal was even submitted before the Lakers said **** it.

Plus the sit isn't that great in LA. Gasol TBH is not going to complain anyway anyhoo cuz he's a little sissy...

Only prob they got now is how to ship Odom's azz outta LA.

Kmart isn't gonna complain. Only real pissed players here are CP3 and the aforementioned Mr. Kardashian

LOL...Great job David Stern you got what you wanted. You left N.O. in such a great state by keeping Paul there, can't wait to see you change your tune when he walks in FA and leaves them with NOTHING you fat, egomaniac!

Not on the first trade that started all of this. There is legal action to be had.

Thank god its dead. We were gutting our team and were hoping nene might sign. Way to much risky business.

Well another option here is too try and nab Marc Gasol and Nene. Not quite as good, but maybe we can keep Martin in this scenario.

Not exactly scratch. Trades do not happen the way a GM plans all of the time. He has his back up plans.

No one saw Gasol as a Plan A to begin with.

While I didn't care much for the trade.. I wanted something to happen.

Now we basically gotta try and trade Martin, cause he won't be happy anymore

So to recap, Rockets get screwed, Dallas gets Odom for next to nothing, and Lakers will probably end up better off than they would have been with CP3. Then, if NJ misses on Howard and he goes to LA, they get Nene. Way to **** on Houston NBA.

Couldn't Rockets still work the same deal as a three way with the Magic and Lakers??

    Pau to us
Bynum, Martin, Scola, Flynn, Caracter, picks to Orlando
    Howard, Hedo to Lakers

Works and that's a sweeter pot for the Magic than just Pau and Bynum.

I agree. I wanted Nene (and that massive contract) here only if Pau was here because the team would be built and centered around what those towers could do together.

Nah if a city can't attract stars for reasons other than a dwindling basketball fan-base, they don't deserve a team.

Doesn't matter, it's a team you cheer for, and if it's your city then that's just bonus.
