    More raw video, this from today (Day 2 of Training Camp). This is Hasheem Thabeet and Jordan Hill running post drills. The assistant coach (white shirt) is J.B. Bickerstaff and the coach making the passes in the post is Greg Buckner. Kevin McHale is observing and instructing... you can see his "positive reinforcement" style. It's definitely a different approach than the one Adelman takes... McHale is much more vocal.

    Hasheem hasn't....his college coach basically said stay in the paint and protect the basket.

    I am telling you guys, he is huge, an athlete and LEFT HANDED....if we can get him developed he will be very good for the Rockets.

    i remember watching a video of yao and hasheem doing similar drills in china, and they kept telling hasheem to use his fingertips instead of his palms. i guess he'll figure it out eventually.

    Bad habits are really hard to break. And Hasheem isn't exactly Einstein on the court.

    Is it just me, or are these coaches teaching fundamentals??

    Get your eyes up early, get your butt down as a base and use your fingers to shoot not your palms? I taught those things to my 4th graders for crying out loud! LOL

    Hopefully those two will make some big strides this year... because it doesn't look like help is coming.

    This kid is going through alot and you never hear of him getting arrested or acting stupid. I'm not worried about Jordan Hill at all. He's gonna produce.
