!! Ohh...wow they must be laughing at us big time then. we pretty much try to give us whole roster for him....
There's also a fire Morey thread. Because obviously, Morey's track record shows that he's as incompetent as they come.
You know what? I quit. I'm done checking the GARM till someone texts me with the news. Too many n00bs panicking and calling out Morey for specifics of a trade no one outside of those offices know. If anything all these "sorces" are just working for The NAB to get fans to start calling for Morey's head. It seems to be working. This man has probably not slept a solid 4 hours in the last 2 days trying to make this team better and you have the nerve to ask if he's just going to fold for the sake of getting it done? **** that. Morey has ALWAYS made positive trades. (Ariza was a signing and so was Miller) I trust him to make it happen. OUT!
indeed but they have better younger pieces as in "Steph Curry" Our pieces aren't so great. They aren't star power. Which is why i sometimes bite my lip when i hear somebody doesn't want Pau Gasol.
What is probably happening now: Stern cannot let CP3 go anywhere but the Lakers. If he does people are going to accuse him of extreme favoritism in the choice of teams. BAD BAD press. Morey knows this and is playing a game of poker betting that no one else will give up enough for Pau to make the trade work. Stern is going to be facing lawsuits on Monday if he does not allow the trade. The lawsuits probably would find in favor of the NBA but would be a huge public relations nightmare. Morey knows this and just sits their holding his cards. And so we are still waiting. The NBA is frantically trying to make this thing work. Once no better offers than Houston's appear Morey drops the value of his offer. So you get something like Scola Hill, PPat, and a pick. Max.
That fits better to the requirement of Stern and the league to sell NOLA. Sure Demps prefers Scola and Martin, but his goals aren't the same of Stern.
you are 2 hours late and that ended up getting destroyed by GS so read the thread and inform yourself before worrying the rest of the lazy people here.
on other forums and comments they are saying things like "someone should help those poor saps down in houston" and others are saying things like "the lakers already have given up too much."
This trade is not to win us a title this year. It changes our direction and gives us something to build around. This is not the last move we will make either. How many years have we complained about not having size in the paint on offense and defense? Now we get some and people complain. Scola was a crafty hardworking player, but he was not tall nor athletic enough. Same with hardworking Chuckwagon. If we get Gasol and Nene (even dalembert) we have 2 7 footers in the paint. That will be great. And you say Howard? hmmm, what has he won? Check the stats on him vs Gasol in the Finals when they played. Gasol clearly out played him. Look, I know Gasol is not the toughest beast of a post player but he is very skilled in the post and we can use that. So give this trade some time to see how it fits with our other players. I know we got attached to some of our young players in hopes they could develop into stars, but when a chance like this comes up we gotta take it. This is a new direction, embrace it!
Prepare to get severely disappointed... Just like no one expected the UH Cougars' Head Coach to go elsewhere, Daryl Morey will pack up and go elsewhere... Why do you think he left Boston? Because he failed as a GM there. I no longer trust Morey with him trading nearly half the team away... Morey, if you want to not pull out of the 3 way and instead help New Orleans so much, then go to New Orleans already and resign as Houston GM already! Otherwise, pull out of 3 way! I see the NBA Lockout has clouded your Jedi mind tricks/morey tactics.
