    They really aren't. They are getting a bunch of older players making big $$ (adding salary) and average picks. This trade doesn't make the team more attractive to a buyer and costs the league more $$ for as long as they have to foot the bill.

    Chris Paul = Pau Gasol + Lamar Odom
    (5 star)____(4.5 star)____(4 star)

    deemed "fair"


    Pau Gasol = Luis Scola + Kevin Martin + Dragic + NY pick + youngsters?
    (4.5 star)___(4 star)______(4 star)___(3 star)__(3 star)____(???)


    WHY! :mad:

    and no Nene or whomever should not be taken into account of this trade.

    Icehouse has it right!

    Morey is in desperation mode. The Lakers know it and are using it that as leverage to get Morey to put in more.

    I don't understand how we will fill the rest of our team even if we sign Nene.

    This is a joke and Morey is being used.

    That depends upon what Demps was tasked with doing, if it is to win this year, then yes....

    If it was to tear down the team to make it cheap for a new owner, then no.

    People and Stern seem to forget. I bet he knows this... Stern is just trying to get the best deal out of it... Thank god he isn't a real GM or nobody would want too work with him.

    No other team can offer what we offer, so in that instance. I am not worried one bit.

    No, that article was written in part because GSW refused to part with "the whole team" to get the guy. It was dismissed.

    P.S everyone plz read the articles instead of jumping to conclusions.

    That sounds Perfect to me Keepin K-Mart. But To be honest the way it looks like. Trade won't go thru esp to us. it's another team or no trades.
