Why Are We Chasing Pau Gasol?

    ...when Dwight Howard is being shopped??!!!!! Couldn't we still get Nene?

    Howard likely doesn't want to come to Houston when he can go to big market teams such as NY, LA, etc. Also, even if we did trade him, he would likely not sign an extension.

    I'd rather take a gamble on Dwight and try to convince him to stay. If not, then we shalt rebuild! I just don't feel like a Gasol Nene front court is enough to win a championship.

    This is what i am saying. Giving up that many players for Pau is too much. But for Dwight? If Dwight came to Houston, he and Lee would reunite again on a better team. Plus, Morey could still get Nene. That should be what makes Dwight want to stay.

    I would also gamble for dwight and if he wants to levae
    - sign and trade him for lopez and picks

    IF you can get a true center to play next to pau he will be worth it, having him play center will be tragic though

    If Houston ends up getting both Nene and Gasol, we would need to bring in another scorer. Getting rid of K-mart is a bad move. I know Houston needs size but Morey is giving up too much for 2 bigmen, 1 at 29 y/o and another at 31. I'm thinking try and convince GSW to trade list Ellis.
