Yeah, I'm sure the Hornets will send Martin to the T-Wolves for cap space and Darko.

I agree that LA is probably completely screwed unless they can pull a rabbit out of the hat. Paul is the best player in the trade if his knees don't catch up with him. Pau is certainly the second best. You could argue all you want about the rest of them.

His best is good, not great. Pau was never great. Olajuwon even before winning titles was a great player. Even on a balance memphis team, I don't recall him dominating for a season. He's a 2nd fiddle like yao both in mentalty, not athletically.

Pau Gasol can cry all the way to the bank to cash in his 10 million dollar trade kicker.

    Bout to hit 360.

Makes perfect sense since nothing ever went anywhere and discussions are just going in a circle

I believe Paul won't get them that much closer, but they have the freedom to try it out, and later on screwjob some team for a big, since they have an eraser in Stern and the rest of the league in their back pockets.

No one wants to leave LA. Its a good team and a good city. I understand his emotions but hopefully he'd be a professional here.

Huh? If he's like Yao, I would gladly take a healthy Yao right now on this team.

He's also the highest paid and has yet to make 1st team anything. What does that say? I like gasol, but I wouldnt ever help the lakers get the younger better player in the deal and have the option to get the most dominant big in the game right now. Its not good news.
