There is nothing more to get unless you get a 4th team involved. Lakers have no pieces unless you want Walton, Metta World Piece, Derek Character or Devin Ebanks.

People need to remember that Gasol is not really all that dependent on his athleticism or quickness. He is a finese player. Him being 31, should not really be all that concerning.

I know the rapid decline of Tmac and Yao are all fresh in our minds, but lets not forget how old Olajuwon was when he delivered his best.

I don't see how that meets Sterns mandate. Basically one of our young players and 1 extra pick? NO still takes on extra payroll for older dudes.

Maybe it depends upon what the Lakers take back in salary etc....to keep Dan Gilbert getting his Lux tax money.

It's because that dumbass Chris Broussard tweeted to a person that Odom would remain a Laker so he would be in a deal for Howard.

Odom has to be a Hornet for this deal to happen. He can be traded for picks or young players by NO if they want.

That was me. Has jopatmc got you so worked up that you need to call my post random and stupid?

So I'll re-post: Ric Bucher stated on Sports Center that a 4th team was probably involved in the trade, that Cleveland, Minnesota, and Boston were the teams contacted to get involved in all this.

And that's when speculation jumps in. I did say that I can see Minnesota being involved, what with cap space and Rick Adelman. We've seen reports that Boston was rumored to be working on a trade with NO for DWest (sending out Jermaine O'Neal + whatever, and maybe getting re-routed to the Lakers; again, speculation).

Why do you people keep saying that. He is a pro and a real class act. Odom I am not so sure about.

What he is expressing is disappointment at leaving the Lakers. Wouldn't you?

Jermaine Taylor was expected in #Rockets camp today but he did not pass his physical. Not expected to join the team now.

Remember how we used to laugh at Chris Wallace?

If the T-Wolves get Kevin Martin with their cap space or non-starters. Can we Rockets fans still laugh at David Kahn?

You people can be ridiculous with your super presumptive posts.

Yes, Pau likes playing for the Lakers, he wouldn't even want to be traded to Miami. That doesn't mean that he will have a bad attitude when he gets here.

KMart is a little bent that he's getting dealt, but if he stays, it's not like he's gonna pout about it. When he said "They've made it clear what they want", he was referring to THE HORNETS, not the Rockets.

More like Morey is helping LA screw themselves. Paul is not the best player in the deal and a maxed out point guard has never won a championship.

My apologies....I didn't say you were stupid since you were the messenger, but the concept of those teams joining when there really isn't any value didn't make sense. Didn't mean it in anyway against you. :)
