When i said I would add marcus morriss and dmo to the prior poster's list, it was a list of folks he would not trade. I worded it very poorly. To restate, I would not trade marcus morris, d mo, pat pat. In that order. Those are the high potential guys. Courtney Lee is worth a mid first rounder (Based on chatter last year before the trade deadline. I'd really hate to trade him. I'd prefer not to deal Buddinger, but I'd do it. Same with Llullll, parsons, thabeet, tWill, flynn.
Nickname me whatever you want, Rookie. Bottom line is Nene wants to play with Howard. And if we get the Gasol trade without taking on a bunch of salary besides Gasol, then we have a realistic chance of landing Howard and DWill. Signed.... Crazy Jo
Morris has the highest upside. Very developed post game for a SF. If Morris can guard 3's and his shot improves a lot, he could become an elite player. I am not saying he will become an elite player...I just think he has a better chance than Motiejunas. My opinion on Motiejunas has been changing from what I've seen in streamed games, but he does still worry me on defense. He likes to play like an international PF. From what I've seen, he needs to bulk up ASAP as I think he has more potential in the post.
I just got off the phone with Rudy T and I asked him what he thought about all of this and all he said before hanging up on me was: KAPAYA!!
haha...cool I'm fine with being called a Rookie since I don't post here much, but lets analyze the facts. So if we get Gasol and we sign Nene for the same deal the Nets have offered, we run out of Cap space because with the Gasol deal and a Thabeet amnesty, we sign nene to the projected 15 million a year. So no cap space. Dwill is now a FA and the only way we can get him is through a S&T. Well, we just traded Scola, Martin, PPat, Dragic (potentially), and a 1st round pick for Gasol that we flipped for howard (Disclaimer: Orlando will probably want more than just Gasol) Fact of the matter is your plan is the same as NJ's plan AND NJ is much much far ahead of schedule than we are. You assume Nene wants to play with Howard, but maybe he is chasing money You assume Gasol can just be flipped for Howard You assume Gasol is a better YOUNG centerpeice for a rebuilding franchise than Lopez (disclaimer: before you get your panties in a bunch, Gasol is the better player, but not for a team starting a rebuilding process) PLUS NJ has more picks to offer Oh Crazy Jo, you crack me up
By tonight it will be around 405 I guess. When the trade goes through, there will be a 20 page explosion.
