I guess after Nene we should turn our sights to Landry since we will need quality big man depth.

We should seriously kill this trade and use our assets and try to aquire CP3 or Dwight, this NO-LA-HOU trade is disgusting if we have to give up K-Mart, Scola, Pat or Lee and only get Gasol in return. We can work on a better deal with our guys.

 

I don't f'ing understand how Morey has no leverage in this deal at all. LA NEEDS us to get this done. We should be calling at least SOME shots. But we keep giving up more and more for this BS.

I agree with most of guys that Patterson should not be included in any of these trade talks. There was no dropoff in the 3 games Patterson started for Scola (injury) last year. In fact, it appeared that our D numbers were better with Patterson starting.

That tells me that Patterson has enormous potential, perhaps the highest young player we have.

Gasol is a top 12 player in his prime and Nene is an all-star in the making.

HEck we could get Dwight Howard with our package. If thats what it takes to get Chris Paul? Then we have everything to get Dwight Howard since this whole deal is made of Rockets players and not Lakers to get Chris Paul. Gasol comes to us because all of our players help them get Chris Paul in the first place.

 

Patterson has a poor post game last season he was something like 38% Fg in those situations.

 

How the he'll can you add Lee and Martin? Who would play the 2? TWIll? ANd he'll no to adding PPat! Odom or someone else had better becoming back this way if the Rockets are adding more to the trade.

If we are giving up the young talent that NOLA wants to complete this deal, we are definitely either getting more than Gasol or keeping our draft picks. Or both.
