Im more intrigued as what other moves Morey is going to make once the Gasol deal goes through. Its hard for me to analyze the trade until all the pieces of the puzzle are put together by Morey.

We had a good deal with New Orleans for Gasol. Now let the Lakers sweeten their deal for Paul if Stern thinks the Hornets deserve better...
If true, Morey's getting milked. Rock solid 22-yr old PF w/ fairly consistent mid-range game, strong & versatile defender, capable of finishing w/ authority above the rim. He's still working on his low-post moves, but learning under a legend like McHale could potentially work wonders for a kid w/ Pat's determination, focus, & maturity.

People don't seem to understand Yes, Morey can replace all these pieces But can he do it fast enough? Pau Gasol is 31 years old, and on top of that, only has three years left on his contract We need to contend now for this deal to be worth it. If we have no supporting cast for Gasol and Nene, it's a stupid trade.
Are you not overreacting slightly?? Gasol played great in the playoffs not mentioning last year. His style of play is ugly yet effective.
