    Stern wants younger players to make it easier to sell the team but they kept Scola & Martin in the trade and Demps supposedly considers it important to get Odom as well.

    It could be rejected again if Demps is being stubborn and locking horns with Stern. He's not building a contender and it's short-sighted.
