In what universe is Chris Bosh and Blake Griffin better than Amare, Gasol and Aldridge? wtf?

 

I would rather they get DRAFT picks instead of players for them, and we roll with what we have and try to get better in the draft.

This is why you don't tell players directly that you are shopping them. Many clearly can't handle the idea that their team is willing to trade them.

 

How are you going to get better in the draft when you can't ever move past 14?

 

Well of course not if the roster keeps getting turned over every couple of months.....how can any team build cohesion that way.

Adelman didn't have much say apparently. One of his conditions for taking on the T-Wolves job was more control over personnel moves.

Blake Griffin and Bosh are not better than Gasol at all. Blake maybe when he gets a shot but not yet.

 

You use your better players to trade for higher picks.....happens all the time, that is how Ray Allen got to Boston, same for Garnet....etc...

Blake Griffin? i just fainted... No Post game but if i can get him. Maybe. Problem is... we don't have the ASSETS to get him.

Would you feel better if the deal were Scola/Martin/Dragic draft pick for Gasol/Nene. Essentially, that is what this deal is. As I stepped back and looked at it that way, we go from no size to one of the best Pf/C combo's in the league for Scola/Martin. I initially voted a resounding NO on this deal but as it looks more and more like we are trading Martin for Nene, I feel much better. If Nene blows up in our face, I may join you in your opinion again.

 

So your going with D. None of the above, agrees that Pau is the ceiling for what Martin/Scola are worth?

Secondly, trading Pau for a draft pick will bring the Rockets a higher pick than Scola or Martin individually.
