    That's the confusing part. If the Commish really wants more youth and better picks and Houston isn't providing the additional youth then I don't know what could change. The Lakers don't have youth or picks. It may just be a $$ grab. Maybe the teams are just being stubborn/hopeful or trying to gather more proof for a lawsuit. Who knows.....

    I am not sold on Nene, especially not at the price tag he will come with. I'd rather amnesty Thabeets get a stop gap and see what D-Mo becomes. At, least this gives Morey a star player and I believe a good starting base for something better than where we are now.

    Marc Spears(Yahoo): Sounds like a trap to me. Nene has to be careful about going to New Jersey. Money is getting better but he could be used in getting Dwight Howard.

    If Emeka isn't in this trade, and with NO taking back so much salary, I'm having a hard time believing they aren't waiting on the David West S&T so that the Lakers will eat J.Oneal's salary.
