For the deal to go through I thought they said New Orleans would have to receive good draft picks or young players.

What young player could have possibly been added to this trade?

The Grizz would just tell him to go sign with a team, match the offer, and bam.

Word is lakers sending Eubanks and Characther to NOLA and Okafor goes back to LA

They still don't have a 3 or PF

Right, could be Morey is under pressure to make the playoffs and maybe win a round, so that's his focus. This buys him some time to figure out how to make the next move that pushes the team to contender status. What that move would be, I have no idea.

dude, did I really need to label that with sarcasm?

Gasol on the other hand is viable option at center, something McHale really wants on this team.

If the deal goes through, we got a legit center, and Morey is able to make other moves.

    From the Rockets' Spanish forum:

Take it carefully, just sharing info.

Rondo? Boston shipped him for CP3 and Westbrook.
    Westbrook? It's a joke, right?
Noah? Really? I mean the guy is a decent C, but JOAKIM FREAKING NOAH?
    Whatever...

Lakers need to throw in a 1st round pick or else the owners wouldn't like it.

Well if their going to match might as well force their hand and make them overpay Marc Gasol.

Just a comment about Pau being soft and not wanting to be in Houston:
    1) He will not be the leader of the Rockets. That honor will go to Lowry. I expect McHale and the leaders of the team to demonstrate how hard everyone has to play, and Pau will fall in line.
    2) Of course Pau doesn't want to leave his home, a storied franchise, and a championship winner, but that is all superficial. Houston has it's own history and he'll get over it quickly.

    Steve Kyler said:
Expect Lakers Devin Ebank and Derrick Caracter to be packed into Paul deal with Emeka Okafor heading to the Lakers.

David Stern will laugh at this, chuckle a bit, and then hit the reject button... I think Stern wants to screw the Rockets out of their young assets... =(
