Nene wanted a 5 year contract from the Nuggets. The Nuggets can offer less money per year but beat the Nets offer with more overall guaranteed money. The Nuggets are reportedly interested in re-signing him but there has been no rumors or leaks from their front office.

I thought the 70m for Nene deal was denied by the Nets paper.

We have more than enough money to get Nene, it just depends on how high Morey is willing to go, or how low Nene is willing to go.

Time to offer DeAndre Jordan $11 million per to come home.

Clippers have only offered $8 million per.

Or go for the Other Gasol.

I don`t believe that. They won`t let best center prospect of the league just walk - only if a team offers a contract that they are not really willing to match AND Marc tells them, that he doesn`t want to play for them anymore they might let him walk.

If we want Marc, we need to offer him a max contract and hope he can convince Memphis. Pretty unlikely though.

No need to jump on somebody for trying to get involved in the discussion.

All this talk about forming the best front court when Pau Gasol apparently does not want to play for Houston.

Obviously maybe he will suck it up but a guy with two titles and doesn't want to play with a franchise I could see him relaxing.

I didn't say we didn't have the money, we shouldn't offer that. And it does, but with the potential tampering charges, they may want to establish a team to try and keep Deron.

Marc has no leverage.. If Memphis likes the price, they'll keep him. Simple as that.

You guys are forgetting one thing about Nene's deal to NJ and probably why he is so reluctant.

He must be reluctant to be used as a trade piece to Orlando for Dwight Howard. Signing in NJ means you might very well be in Orlando in 72 Hours.

Then how come the crowd here mostly can't live without Chuck Hayes? Just funny that our most popular and arguably valuable player is a "huge" tweener!

Says something about the team, doesn't it?

Deandre Jordan. Young and improving. He wont limit us with future stars with his contract.

What Thabeet isn't a true center?

I rather have Morey making changes to try and make the team better in adding an all-star level player than staying with a current formula that hasn't worked.

You don't like the Pau trade. Don't like the Nene trade. Don't expect the Marc signing. Don't give any other possible scenario to upgrade...

Ok, let's play Scola and K-Mart and enjoy the endless path through mediocrity.
