From the few Rockets games that I've seen in previous years, Martin looks to be the one guy you want to keep. Guy put up 23.5 points per game, very efficiently, yet it seems he was thrown into the trade like a giveaway. Finding a suitable replacement for Lowry seems like an easier job than getting someone to fill that scoring void yes?
Work is going to be completely awful this weekend. My mind isn't even going to be close to wanting to do my job.

I want pau but I want scola and martin. I want this deal but I don't want this deal. After seeing the practice today I remembered how much I love all these players. BUT gasol makes us better. Conflicted

i really do hope we replace martin or scola with some of our youth (hill/bud/t will/thabeet/flynn or any combo of those). even lee i wouldnt be too opposed to losing. the only question is, who would we rather keep between scola and martin? i'm so torn because I love scola a lot more as a player and an all around awesome person, but I think martin is a much better fit with gasol. this still sucks that we lost chuck though. so.. from my understanding, if the deal had gone through yesterday without a hitch, we would have amnestied thabeet and signed both chuck and nene? am i understanding that correctly? hopefully there's still time to get nene
honestly, i'd be forking out whatever if it means we can get the most skilled big man in the league. we can show the nba who really won those 2 la titles...;-)
