Sam Amick and Adrian Woj is definitely some good sources to follow. Stay away from Chris Broussard, he spews random **** most of the time.
No kidding. Sad thing is, they still haven't really talked about us that much. They even went as far to say that the deal was "headlined by Odom"
I'm starting to buy into the whole Gasol/Nene idea. My big concern is Gasol's seeming unwillingness to play in Houston, though.
The fact that another deal is bad does not make a bad deal better. I am not saying at all that Nene is bad, but if you compare giving him $ 16M/season to a superstar max player deal, then it looks really bad. At the end of the day, it's all about getting these superstars...the guys who get the max, but are the ones that put you in a position to contend, the guys who are worth much more than the max. It's almost impossible to get them through trades, so I'd rather tank this season. Maybe get Gasol and let him sit out a lot of games with his mysterious quadriceps injury (think: David Robinson). That was just hearsay, really.
