If we dont move both martin and scola then we dont have enough cap for nene. There almost now way would get Gasol / Nene / Martin

RT @Mike_Bresnahan: Gasol not talking. He has a strained right quadriceps and was sent for a medical test. That's what Lakers are saying.

Another note: If the Hornets revisit the Clippers' standing offer for Paul of Aminu, Bledsoe, Kaman and the MIN 1st round pick, and further assuming that the Rockets lose out on Nene, perhaps Morey helps facilitate another Paul to L.A. trade and grabs Kaman in the process.

Not even a Plan B. Just a thought.

Rondo and Green are out there, so that isn't true.

I have a different idea: keep Odom and send Bynum to the Hornets. It would give them a young prospect and kill LA`s chance to get Howard.

And I don`t think Bynum and Pau is a too steep price for Paul.

What about something like.. Lamar Odom, Luis Scola, Courtney Lee, Terrence Williams, Jordan Hill, & picks to New Orleans. Chris Paul & Emeka Okafor to LA. Pau Gasol to Houston.

    1) Kyle Lowry / Goran Dragic
    2) Kevin Martin / Jermaine Taylor
    3) Marcus Morris / Chase Budinger
    4) Patrick Patterson / Chandler Parsons
    5) Pau Gasol / Hasheem Thabeet

I'm guessing the Lakers will just give up their picks instead. That's the way it should have been any ways. The Rockets are the team giving up the most yet we still tacked on picks?

I think Stern wants Paul on the Lakers. Opening day...Paul on the Lakers...but it's the other owners he has to deal with.

How about we just insert young player for Scola? Donatus Monatjunas for Scola in the trade and Twill. Deal done.

I think the Rockets can just waive it though. Which they will, it's strained...now if he were having surgery on his knees....

Jesus christ guys stop trowing ideas that make no sense ... the only reason we still make this trade is to get Gasol/ Nene frontcourt .... if you keep martin there is no room for Nene ...

I just say let the trade go and try to flip matin and scola for young player / picks .... if LA want paul they can find someone else to do their dirtywork.

Well deal should die now. Whats done is done. League owes the Rockets now. Bigtime. Hope they remember that and Les holds them to it.

No, that's code for the Lakers/Gasol wanting to avoid the media circus of an interview, as well as having a "reason" for him not to practice.
