Just forget. Seek legal action on the league and try to get draft pick compensation for the last deal that fell through. Who cares if the Lakers and Hornets get Paul? Time to look out for the Rockets and not others.
This is getting ridiculus. Now WE have to sweeten the deal? Really? We, who are already giving up two borderline all-star players that are on very reasonable contracts and a first rounder? And we aren`t even getting the best player of this trade, but a 31 year old star on the decline? Please Morey - please... I know how desperate you are to get a star, but take a look at the numbers and be reasonable. IF we have to include our young talents (PPat, CBud, Morris), you better make sure we get something in return. Even if it "only" is Okafur. That guy is on a bad contract, but a good defender and decent at the boards - would play great next to Gasol. And in the end, not nearly as bad overpayed as Nene is going to be. Still, I hate to bet on the next 3 years with Pau - especially if we have to give up one of our young hopefuls. With what`s going on elsewhere in the league, we are going nowhere with this team. Try to develop or draft a superstar and quit this madness with aging stars.
