Hmmm he said its quiet obvious..... Maybe he meant its so obvious it's silent! They both wanna stay here!! Lulz
After reading reports last night on how emotional he was, i dont blame him, i guess these players just want to get trading over and done with. I dont think he necessarily wants to leave he just wants to know his status. I have to say i am extremely proud of the professionalism of our players compared to *cough cough Lamar Odom& CP*
Ehh maybe not so fast on Bynum for me 07-08: Dislocated left kneecap 08-09: Right knee sprain, torn MCL 09-10(playoffs): Torn meniscus Career GS-GP: 0-46 53-82 25-35 50-50 65-65 47-54
Could have Martin, Gasol, Odom, Dragic, and the NYC pick going to NOLA, Paul, Scola, Okafor, and Ariza going to LA, and Bynum coming here. This would give NOLA more value (Gasol is better than Scola, plus relief from Okafor and Ariza's contracts) while preventing the LA from signing or otherwise trading for Dwight Howard. LA downgrades from Gasol, Bynum, and Odom to Scola, Okafor, and Ariza, but they get Paul. We get Bynum and the cap space to sign Nene: PG: Lowry/Flynn SG: Lee/Williams SF: Budinger/Morris PF: Nene/Patterson C: Bynum/Hill Giving up Scola, Martin, and a pick for Nene and Bynum is no-brainer.
JohnReidTP John Reid Chris Paul arrived at the Hornets' practice facility at 3 p.m., one of six players participating in training camp, which just started. JohnReidTP John Reid Hornets GM Dell Demps said Chris Paul told the team he was not prepared to sign an extension at this time. JohnReidTP John Reid Dell Demps confirmed trade talks has resumed involving Chris Paul and said a deal is still possible.
While the injury thing does bother me some the age and talent make him more right for this team at this time. Trade the old for the new then play Bynum "lightly" this year. Lowry Lee Budinger Patterson Bynum (lightly with heavy doses of Thabeet) That should get us a nice pick, allow Bynum to strengthen up and see what we have and don't have. We don't want to trade away a young Steve Nash for peanuts because you have an aging KJ running the team. Oh and pull that #1 pick back. Even though it is probably in the mid 20s, I'm thinking maybe packaging it with our pick to move up a slot or 2.
Why would we give up all of that for Bynum? Thats a sh1tty move to give up Scola and Martin for Bynum.
I really want this trade to go through. I'm ready for a new team. The one we have now isn't going to ever get us anywhere. Some of you need to accept that.
It seems transparent to me that Martin is not a fan of Daryl Morey. After coming out last year and making those comments about Morey referring to his players as assets, and now making that remark about Daryl "showing his cards" (which seemed like a rather resentful thing to say IMO)... it doesn't surprise me at all that Martin "wants to go". He's probably sick of the trade roller coaster.
yup, I agree completely. that's why I posted his 37% absence last four years concluding he'd miss 28 (23 + 5 from the JJ suspension) games this upcoming season. He is way over valued in the NBA. Yes, when healthy he is a top center. But, that if is third to that of Oden and Yao. The almost predictable injury shadows so many things.
