If LA gets Paul, Chandler signs with the Knicks and the Nets sign Nene. I like our chances to keep Howard over any other team that'll be going after him next season
Bynum has a team option after this season. It really wouldn't be a big risk to bring him in instead of Pau.
Don't forget Bynum is suspended for the first five games. That's 5 games on top of his projected 23 missed games this season due to injuries (last four seasons he has missed 37% of the season).
Bynum seems a beefier Chandler to me. Their careers seem to have taken similar paths to this point. Perhaps Bynum has a little more offensive upside, but he doesnt strike me as the type of guy you dump it to in the post for 20 touches a game

Based on my assumption that he will miss another 37% games this season (who knows when, as well)... he will be missing 28 of the 66 games this season. In a shortened season, that's HUGE.
LOL, getting Bynum, keeping Scola, and flipping Bynum for Dwight Howard would be INCREDIBLE, but it isn't going to happen.
At this point you almost have to find a way to complete this trade. Otherwise each team is left is a bunch of demoralized players and a bad situation.
MC790 Michael Connor After speaking with Scola and Martin its quiet obvious that Scola doesn't want to go while Martin does.
