Once this all clears up and *crossing my fingers that the deal works. I am anxious to see the salary cap outlook on the rockets in 2012. If we could even get a big free agent.

Hey if we are adding more to the deal? Thats not fair. Lakers should add more from their end. We already give up a majority of the trade that makes it possible.

There is no way to block this trade or a trade for Chris Paul from happening. Stern messed up big time and he has to let this trade go through. He will have to step down after this - there is no PR that can undo what he has done in the past 24 hours.

no because he is a big...multiple teams would take him at the price..spec orlando they are loosing howard.

Obviously you havent been watching the news and how much centers are getting paid....thats not gonna change next year.

nene is underrated. If the plan all along was to pair nene and gasol, i like the trade much more. If its just Gasol it's a terrible deal, while making the Lakers much better in the process.

I'll pass on Nene, I can accept Pau but Nene is overrated. I would agree Pau needs help but Nene underwhelms me.

Sources confirm New Orleans is talking Chris Paul deals again. 3-team deal w/ Lakers, Hou might still have hope, but others discussed too.

New Orleans, Houston and Lakers are re-engaged in talks to find a new way to complete Chris Paul blockbuster trade, league sources tell Y!

How can this be? How can they find a new way when Stern wants CP3 to stay in NO?

I wonder if the Rockets still make this deal if Nene is off the table.

Sweeten the deal? Lakers want Paul so bad. Nobody should be sweetening the deal anymore than the Lakers. W should do nothing but offer less if anything or change it to help us out more.

They were a playoff team last year while being so young. If they re-sign Affalo they've got their core players back.

YES... when I first heard about him possibly getting cut, that immediately sprang to mind. He needs a change of scenery and where better than his home town. All that being said, we should not pay very much for him or guarantee him a long contract.
