My only question is this: Is there any way we can somehow sign Keith Van Horn to a three-year deal and include HIM in this trade?

    ;)

Nene cant get any more money from any other team..he hasnt signed yet and its for a reason...he must prefer our team with Pau Gasol added.

Nets offered the max they could under CBA...rockets must have already informed nene they would do the same...and to give them time to work this trade out.

why don't people understand that keeping both Scola and/or Martin prevents us from getting two all-stars (and we are not one all-star away from contention)

How can you negotiate a fair deal when the other team owners basically have to sign off on the deal for it to get approved? That is not a level playing field.

Nene isn't an all-star and $16 million /yr hampers the team going forward.

If my estimates are correct, the Rockets could offer Nene 67 million over 4 years which trumps the Nets offer. I think its a good sign that Nene hasn't signed yet.

A logical follow up might be to flip some youngsters for Iggy and commit to a 3 or so year window where we are fighting for home court advantage.

I trust Morey not to buckle with pressure from LA.

Maybe we take back Okafor and send them Thabeet. We better get a huge trade exemption if they make us take back more salary.

Please keep D-Mo and Patterson Rockets.

Prediction: Less salary going to NOH from us, and another pick goes to NOH probably from LA. Lakers get a minor player too so they take on more salary.

Tweak? Yeah, lets add a few more Rocket Assets (tm) going to LAL and NO.

First McHale named as coach replacing Adelman. Then the trade that didn't happen. And finally Chuckwago's departure. Its hard being a Rocket fan...

dude, but Gasol and one of next year's free agents (Howard, DWill) are ...

Bima was saying our plan was Gasol, Nene, and then an allstar free agent in 2012.

Yea nothing says anything about a deal being near completion. Is your other source reliable?
