http://www.houstontexans.com/tv-med...m-speech/99ba7b56-5f81-4baa-b1f2-8123558a27a6 I wonder if he toned down the swearing knowing that the cameras were on him. "Freakin'". Or is he just always like that?
Just because he doesn't do it during press conferences doesn't mean he doesn't ever do it... That video was awesome. Got chills down my spine seeing the team cheer when T.J. got the ball.
Kubiak licking his fingers before he touches/throws the football is hilarious. Old habits... Kubiak: "Yes we can!" I thought The Texans organization was a republican organization.
Good points from Mr. Mcnair. Should have given a speech. I was hoping he'd listen to Winston. I told my coworkers just this morning about this habit... I think it was carried on from John Elway on down to Kubes. LICK, get under center...
I noticed that too, lol. He licks his fingers all the damn time, just like Pardee was always wiping his forehead. Great video. This team is locked in, the morale has to be at an all time high.
Love it! Thanks for posting. I was hoping for one of these after I saw Pete Caroll doing one on Sunday.
I was hoping TJ would say something when he got the game ball; that would have further solidified my aspirations for him becoming the Texans (temporary?) leader. I know it was his first full game as a starter but I was disappointed in the "aww shucks, guys" demeanor. A speech would have added to the TJ Yates lure. I'll take wins over speeches anyway.
I think you're reading too much in to it. I don't think that would have been the proper time to speak up, especially since the owner was about to say something. They also tend to give out multiple game balls, and I don't remember seeing or hearing a big speech after one being given away.
After they make the playoffs, please update the PA music....we can't go into the post season playing ICE ICE BABY
i've seen him curse somebody out on the sidelines before but never during a speech or a press conference. That video was amazing though.
Good stuff, but I was a little put off by Mcnair at the end. That should be saved for the end of the season, not a week 13 win. Just had a huge sense of accomplishment tone to it, and from the owner I'd like to at least clinch the division before you do that. /nitpicking
I think a lot of owners come into the locker room after wins and congratulate players. Happens every week on almost every team that wins their game. Even the Pats owner does it.
