Amare is 28. Bosh is 26. Gasol is 31. And no, I wouldn't trade those two, Dragic and 2 draft picks for either one of those guys.
LOL he can't go to the Knicks because they capped out with Chandler. Can't go to Lakers obviously. Might have to settle for Clippers.
I dont think Gasol has that Rockets heart and hustle that MOST of our players have, but c'mon the guy is a 20 and 10 machine. He alters shots, and in my opinion, aside from Yao Ming, Gasol has the best post big man in the league the past decade. So again I say c'mon guys there is no perfect solution to our roster because were stuck in that middle of the pack draft pick area and good but not good enough group of guys on our roster, and when we get a guy who is established we want to turn him away because of his hair or his attitude or he looks like an ostrich, but SO WHAT.
LScola4 Today its a good day to start tweeting in english too. Strange day, but I'm still a Rocket until they tell me otherwise. Tomorrow to work Man gotta love Scola.....
I am not a big Pau Gasoft fan either. I think he is the softest European player since the creation of bread.
This is hilarious. A waiter commented on how happy Scola is going to be to play with Gasol. Awkward...
sam_amick Sam Amick Rumblings out of New Orleans that Hornets camp might resemble a D-League practice tomorrow. @CP3 not expected to show, possibly others.
Yeah, all players are "owned", or at least accountable to their contracts until they are free agents. What happened doesn't change any of that. Paul is not a free agent, so he is subject to being under contract for his team like any other player. In this case his teams owners said "you are staying here". He is free to sign wherever he wants this summer. He hasn't been wronged. He's not even the 1st dude to get traded and then have it fall through.
mccannsportslaw Michael McCann Players could argue NBA Constitution (which is not collectively bargained) should not conflict w/CBA when it comes to "basketball reason"
This seasons Hornets are going to cost New Orleans their franchise. Im starting to think this was the plan all along.
For some reason, it always seem like morey targets the wrong guy. Why are the rockets trying to get gasol when cp3 is availible? Paul is a franchise player and could lure other top players with him. I don't really get it.
It makes no basketball sense to transform N.O. into the next Cleveland Cavs post lebron. When CP3 leaves for nothing that franchise will hit rock bottom. with the players (Martin, Scola, Dragic, Odom) they acquired they would have had more tradeable assets at least. And draft picks for the future. Maybe the Stern believes in tanking as the best way to go.
Lol at Paul trying to sue the league. WTF. If the other owners come out and say "we didn't want this trade for this team that WE own then you are SOL.
I'm just glad I'm not a Hornets fan right now. The next few years are going to be absolutely BRUTAL for their fans.
