Guys, this is making me sick to my stomach.

We finally had a legit big man, All-star big man, but now? We are stuck with Thabeet!

We waited to long and Hayes is probably signing with Kings and Nene might go back to Denver now.

Why didn't the NBA just block the trade speculation weeks ago when the CP3 rumors started?

Countless hours wasted by Demps, Kupchak and Morey. I feel sorry for them all.

Morey especially. What is he going to do now?

This trade already took up the whole day.

Well said. While I was willing to move Luis if it produced a clear upgrade for the team at a position(s) of need, it wasn't what I wanted. I would love to see Scola retire a Rocket. Chuck as well. To me, they embody what is great about professional basketball, and what is great about being a fan of the Rockets... being able to cheer for players like them.

What would LA trade to get D Howard? Bynum? besides that their bigs would be Luke Walton and Character. Sheridan or the owners is dumb. This trade put them out of the running for Howard. They would have nothing to trade. I guess they could trade Kobe.

So give up 2 good offensive players to get one player that is a better defender? That makes tons of sense. Go ahead and give up the backup pg and 1st round pick just to make it work.

Now in our dream world with Nene & Gasol, we have our PG that loves to drive to the rim, except now the middle is clogged with big men, taking away his greatest offensive attribute.

We had to find a way to make Martin stay here in order to make that team substantially better than what we have now.

Depends on how fast you can build :p Garnett was traded to the Celtics at the same age.

What's your answer Max? You got a recommendation? You keep shooting it down like you know of a better option that doesn't include tanking?

So, we have a problem with this, yet we're ok with players wanting out of their contracts, asking to be traded, and then basically deciding where to go?

Or maybe we're not ok with it, but don't realize that's what is going on? Its just as wrong not to honor your contract. People will say the hornets were willing, but what choice did they really have? Gotta get something back before he's gone.

In other news, David Stern is now requiring the Lakers to re-sign Smush Parker. Basketball reasons.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

The 1st round pick was worthless man! You really think the Knicks with Chandler/Amare/Melo would suck?

    Lee could have replaced Martin.

    Lowry/Lee/Morris/Nene/Gasol

    Sigh.

Thank God this trade did not happen. now i can go back to being a die-hard fan from a casula fan which i would have been if we brought soft ass Gasol here with no legitimate roll players either. Rockets fans around the world need to be rejoicing.

I´m starting to see a pattern here. Pau was pissed of going to Houston. Paul is pissed not going to LA and wants to skip training camp and maybe even filing legal action. Odom wants to skip training camp because he is pissed.

In the meantime our players, Scola and Martin, have nothing but nice things to say and are dealing with this thing like gentlemen.

Character might not win you championships - but it sure helps to root for them... we have great guys on our roster.

I'm shooting it down because I think it's spinning wheels. I think we'll find ourselves in the exact same spot we were at the end of last season...and the season before that. My solution is Clutch's solution. Also..making a deal because MadMax can't instantly come up with another probably isn't a good solution.
