I feel awkward. I was one of the apparent few that welcomed this deal, and now its dead. This could of been what Morey has been waiting for.

We are screwed. Morey just spent an entire day working on a deal that is now dead, seemed like he had another move or two up his sleeve too.

I've supported the deal all day. Safe to say I'm truly pissed with David Stern right now.

WTF? Dude, I didn't say it wouldn't make us better, but the number 1 seed? With a new coach and system and new players?

    And you call others names....yeah...brilliant.

The big picture? That Nene might take our money, but may not have? That we still wouldn't have much perimeter scoring? If they could make that deal, and keep KMart, it would be brilliant. Move some additional pieces to the Lakers and Hornets, and we'd be talking about a possible championship type move.

This means chuck is probably gone, too. He had supposedly been asking Chucks agent to wait.

A sick joke. The league front office and most of the owners are incredibly corrupt and take the fans for granted. They think we will put up with anything. Sadly, they are probably right. :-(-

I didn't like the deal, but I'm incensed that it is being blocked.

I can understand the interference in the event it was a two team trade, but the fact Houston was involved shows that all parties were happy with the moving pieces.

perhaps the other GMs need to get off their ass.

Sorry you're pissed you just lost Butler/Chanlder Cuban, but go **** yourself.

I hated the deal. I strongly dislike Pau Gasol. I love Luis Scola, and have nothing against K Martin.

I think that's way too much to give up for a guy who doesn't always give his all on defense and rebounding like Gasol.

I agree with you here DD. We would be MUCH improved in my mind. But #1 seed with LA, Dallas, OKC and SA in the West is doubtful.

Yet if he went to New York this would have went through somehow. I am all for the blockage but somehow this stinks on some level. I mean some form of corruptness in the NBA behind it. Regardless if we benefit from this stoppage or not.

Chuck's agent was pushing for the Rockets to make an offer ASAP and we kept asking for more time to complete the CP3 deal and sign Nene. No idea what Morey does now.
