    this looks terrible for the league, if they wanted to approve every NO trade they should have said so before the fact, not after a deal is agreed to

    I get they are frustrated with players like Paul directing where they want to go but if the Hornets GM decided it was a good move for the team, then let it happen.

    Again. Read clutch's blog. Give young guys playing time. If you can unload Martin and/or Scola for picks or younger pieces, do it. But don't get incrementally better. That isn't helping big picture.

    No - but they could get something else for Paul. How about a young rising star (Rondo or Westbrook come to mind) some nice role players and 2 first rounders? I am sure they can find a deal like that. NO don`t need 30 year old non elite players. They need promising young players and picks - just like we do.

    They don`t really gain anything by this trade. The would be contending for the 8th spot and have done nothing for their future.

    And in the end, you never know what happens - maybe Paul decides to stay after all.
