... We could easily be 3rd in the West. If Bynum goes out and Mavs don't resign Chandler who can beat us? OKC and Memph.

Take off those rose-tinted glasses. Gasol is easily a top 15 player in the league. He's an elite post scorer and a great mid-range shooter. Also, some of our other players (namely Lowry and Twill) will step up and bring their game to another level.

Remember when we were asking this question when Yao and TMac were out for the entire 2009/2010 season?

    We got points.

You mean when he outperformed Kobe in the NBA finals? Yeah, I think he learned something.

LOL "top 15 player" leading you anywhere.

pau couldn't even make it past the first round when he was leading his own team.

You could say the same thing about the Lakers. The Lakers current roster has 0 chance to win a ring. We just have to be patient.

I don't agree with getting Nene anymore though, the only big man FA that I would even consider going after now would be Marc. If that seems unrealistic, resign Chuck and get a scoring wing (have to trade for one) and we go from there.

Scola and Martin weren't exactly leading us in ANY playoff games

I really can't see the Lakers beating anyone decent if they lose Bynum which they probably will... And the spurs are wack. Lowry was our best player last season, we didn't lose him and with Martin and Scola gone our team will give up way less points a game.

No but they battle fought and were cool dudes:rolleyes:

All it will take is Gasol having a 28/12 game and all will be forgiven

For the fans that says this question is uneducated how about you educate us then other than probably being the type fan that calls anyone who questions the front office uneducated.

Basketball is a team sport. His supporting cast was pretty terrible. You can't blame the team's failure on a single player.
