Fact of the matter; CP3 was going to find his way to the Lakers with or without the assitance of Houston. There is absolutely no reason to sit on our hands and not improve ourselves during the inevitable.

I'm sure you won't have a response, but how is that worse than "building around" Martin and Scola?

One immensely legitimate question remains at hand: will Khloe move to New Orleans?

Lets get this straight. Morey has no track Record. His track record was trying to build around Yao and Tmac. Two players already here.

Rocket needed interior D, Paul gasol really fit that bill.

KM,Dragon and Scola for Paul Gasol is too much.

I have to believe another shoe would drop if this happens. If it does, I just hope it's not into a pile of...

Then again, this might be based on a gamble (hints) that another shoe dropping is more likely to happen because of this one.

Wouldn't be the first time things fell apart, if it doesn't. But there certainly would be some bruised egos and repairs to do.

(Anybody here catch any of the ESPN specials with Smith, Barkley, Webber, O'Neal, etc. reminiscing? I forget who it was that was told after a practice that despite rumors he wasn't going anywhere. I think, by the time he got home he had been traded.)

Got to agree, we just created another monster of a team, IMO they are probably now likely to get Dwight Howard in a Bynum trade. Which would be ridiculous. I'm sure Morey has a plan with this trade, I don't think he trades for the sake of trading, lets wait and see what he does in the next few weeks.

You know what is coming next? "Dwight Howard demands trade to LA Lakers or will sign as free agent next year"

Maybe if Pau were 26 it would be different. But we just acquired a 31 year old Robin for our two leading scorers, backup pg and a first rounder while claiming to be rebuilding.

What the **** is going on?? I just posted in another thread after being gone this afternoon and then found this. Someone tell me it isn't on the level. PLEASE! I can't stand to look at Gasol. Am I really supposed to be happy that we've had a big part of rebooting the Lakers? That we've tossed Scola, Martin, Dragic and the Knicks pick (and who knows what else) for Pau "Whining b*stard" Gasol?? Go ahead and call me crazy, but I'd rather keep the pieces and tell them NO THANKS.

Now, if we got another important piece out of this, I might feel differently.

And people have been complaining about Scola's age. Hell, Gasol's the same age and a Goofus.

The real question is CP3 going to the Lakers. Martin/Scola/Dragic aren't too special without stars.
