    Technically it is New York's pick, but New York might actually be good with Chandler, Melo, Stoudemire.

    id take pau over an injury prone BIG guy, always respected pau's offensive game. it kinda reminds me of scola in terms of his style in the post.

    I was firmly behind the deal when I thought it was Gasol for Martin+Scola.

    I was still for it when I thought it was Gasol for Martin+Scola+Dragic

    Now we're also giving up a couple draft picks? OK, nervous. There needs to some very good follow-up moves.

    So LA is only giving up Pau and Odom to get Paul - probably a top 10 player in the league.

    While we give up Scola, Martin, Dragic and 2 draft picks to get Pau - probably a top 20 player.

    I don`t get it. We help LA form their next dynasty - we let NO get the most out of CP3 - and all we get is Pau.

    I always trusted in Morey - but this move has desperation written all over it. He always wanted to get us a star. Now he did - an aging 31 year old who is great next to a star wing player, but can`t carry a team by himself.

    If this would have happened a year ago, you all would be going crazy. Just because Pau had a bad playoffs. He will be back and Im excited that we actually have a legit 7 ft. big man now.

    Reading a Hornets blog, their fans don't see happy about this one.

    This is going to be a longgggg 24 hours, there's this underlying tone that a bigger/complimentary move is in the works for us. I seriously can't wait to see what happens if anything at all

    I just think Morey was desperate to do something..........anything.

    Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. I wonder if Gasol could ever be a fan favorite?

    :mad: Gasol is good, but not for those Martin and Scola good. Totally don't like this at all.

    I just really don't get it. Martin+Scola sounds like plenty for Pau Gasol. Throw in Dragic since NO will need help at the point now, since we just got Flynn. OK, I get it. But adding a first rounder in a solid draft on top of that for a 31 year old just MAKES NO SENSE
