I honestly believe Patterson can produce near Scola level. Can Lee produce near Martin's level, ie 18-20 pts, given 30+ minutes as the primary wing scorer. If he can then the Pau trade makes sense to me.

Lee can't produce near Martin's level offensively, but defensively the difference is staggering.

Starting SG on a finals team as a rookie. And hopefully a good recruiter.

I dont think he can produce Martins offense..but he does produce decently enough, especially when you count in his D. He really turned on his O towards the end of last season...if we get NeNe and we end up being KLow,Lee, Morris/Bud, Pau/Patpat, Nene...that will be very interesting.

I think He's good enough to make me forget about Martin's pukefest defense.

His defense is 10x better than Martin, his offense is mediocre

But who's the go to guy in the last seconds? Pau, Lowry...?

Lee can probably contribute about 12 points in that time. Towards the end of last season, he was averaging 10 points a game in 28 minutes.

That's not true. He might not be Kevin Martin, but he can definitely score.

His defense on the board is overrated. He's solid defensively but he's not great.Offensively not even close to K-Mart.

Kmart was never a last seconds type of guy. He would disappear during the final minutes of a game.

He is very quick and athletic. And that's no joke.

Clutchfans is a really interesting place. When we had Martin and he was an offensive force, this whole forum was praising him to know end while saying very little about his defense liability. Now, when he is gone, they are quickly to point out how bad his defense was.

If you really think Lee is gonna be an upgrade over Martin, please pass me whatever you're smoking.

No one is saying Lee is as good Kmart. The question is he good enough with Gasol to make the deal be a plus for us.

Can Lee get around 10 points and make sure his opponent isn't scoring over 30ppg?

    I think so.

He wouldn't start if Martin was still here but man, Lee's no scrub.

Lee's playing for a new contract, so he's going to give it all he's got this season. I think he'll have a breakout season.
