    I love the Chuckwagon, but at this point who cares? He does not make us a contender with Pau! He is a great role player but nothing more.

    Morey better make some other moves.

    Gasol, while soft, is still a pretty good piece. But I think everyone would agree Morey overpaid. I would've accepted Martin + Dragic or Scola + pick for Pau. Martin + Scola for Gasol is a steal for NO. Toss in picks/Dragic and Morey just got #*&^.

    Exactly! I'd be pissed if they dumped salary just to re-sign Chuck at $20million/4. We might as well go all out for a better center.

    Yeah, earlier in the thread I mentioned that we obviously had to give up either Scola or Martin to make a trade, but I wish we didn't have to also include Dragic. I'd rather have traded Budinger than Dragic, but I guess NOH needed a good back-up PG with Paul's departure. Apparently Morey sees more potential in Flynn than Dragic?

    I need to know more about this deal. We seem to be giving up a lot but then we could also be clearing up space for a center. I don't know, I'll wait until all the details are made clear.

    Huge front court.

    Above average PG with all-star potential.

    Only thing im skeptical on is McHale's coaching ability.

    I've never been a big Gasol fan, but I'll wait to see how this all ends up before I get too upset. If this gives them an opportunity to get a quality free agent then I would probably feel better.

    Gasol is 31 years old. I don't know.
