That's where we were with Scola/Martin r****d. Pau is an elite big. It may not make us contenders but it is a step in the right direction.
Morey basically not only made our team worse but pretty much GAVE the Lakers the western conference title for the next 2 years at the minimum. This is COMPLETE PWNAGE and Morey defenders can't see it.
Would people shut up about Nene? He's not that good. I lived in CO and watched him for many years. Never been impressed. Stop regurgitating whatever the media says. Lee sucks, no where near as good as Martin. Patterson blows balls and will never be half the player Scola is.
The Lakers gave up the 6th man of the year and the 2nd best PF in the west for the best point guard in the west. I think a lot of people are overreacting on how much better the Lakers might be after this trade.

Exactly. The Lakers flipped Pau and Odom for an injury prone point guard to go along with their injury prone center. So they did loose durability and depth in the trade, that does mean something going into this shortened season.

Noooo.... This sucks. I can not cheer for Gasol. I can not remeber a single move in Houston sports that has made me want to not be a fan. This one does. His body language is terrrible. And he looks like he has never bathed. I don't know if I can get over this.
Scola puts up comparable numbers and makes roughly half of what gasol makes. That's why those two straight up would have been questionable.
