I don't know how I feel about this trade, I don't see where Morey is going with this trade. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, in the short term the trade makes us worse, there is no doubt about this. I guess we should wait and see what Morey does........

Do yall realize that the Knicks pick will now be like the 25th pick in the NBA? If we want that, we can buy it...

if there are no other deals, and this stands, rockets got raped - big time. not only do you lose Martin, Scola, and Dragic, but you give up a pick as well? what is going on?

and thank you Miami Heat for messing up the entire NBA for years to come

I still have some faith in DM. He has huge balls and an even bigger package up his sleeves. None of us have a real idea what that package may be, but if it falls through it will be great. If not, I'll be joining everyone when we rush DM's house in anger with my fists ready (it's more personal)

Marc Gasol is a restricted free agent, therefore he has little say in where he signs because Memphis will most likely match any offer.

Two picks can be traded for a better pick in a deeper draft.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as i'm concerned a late 1st round pick is guaranteed money. at that point, an early 2nd rounder becomes more valuable than a late first rounder for that very reason.

Looks like the lakers have some agreement with the Magic about Dwight else I don;t see them trading away 2 bigs for CP3....

I voted yes on this poll, but that was before I knew that Dragic was going to be part of the deal....I feel like we gave up a tad much.

If Pau plays center, then this trade sucks. I think Morey is smarter than that though. I sure hope so.

The rockets are now a lower to mid tier playoff team at best. Ehh.

Morey pretty much bent over and got double penetrated by the Lakers and the Hornets.

    Nice going.

Chris Paul is a 2nd banana. And he's short.

The Lakers are worse now than their recent championship teams. What made those teams stand out was their length and Bryant. Shipping out Odom and Gasol for little Paul and pairing him with aging Bryant and brittle Bynum is not impressive.
