    I'm almost positive now that Morey has something in place to get us a top flight center, contingent on this Gasol trade.

    Plus they get to dump Odum's salary which can't hurt them in the pursuit of Howard. Does anyone here think Howard will an issue playing the the West where he can "avoid" the three ring circus in Miami?

    I'll take Gasol for those three in a heartbeat, especially without picks involved.

    Gasol is NOT a shadow of himself. He wore down last year w/o anyone to spell him. He was the NUMBER 1 fantasy player in the first half of the season: blocked shots, points, rebounds, free throw percentage, the guy is a monster. As for the soft label, he's definitely turned that around.

    Although 31, I think his skillset and lack of injuries gives him a good 4-5 more years. And, if Morey can score Nene plus a Martin-like player for the 2 position, we have a championship caliber squad, especially if Morris works out as planned.

    Size wins girls and championships.

    Lee is serviceable but no lock down defender. He can improve I give you that.
    Gashol may not be what I like but he is an capable allstar who actually replaced another international star in Yao.

    You guys are stupid. who cares if other teams get better if we improve ourselves? that kind of emotional "I dont wanna help them cause there mean and our rivals" thinking is the reason your not GMs. Us being involved is great. This means okafor stays on the hornets. Thus the lakers are left w/ bigs of

    To everyone saying Magic will trade Howard. Learn sociology. The magic fans will boycott their team if the FO trades Howard for Bynum. They hate the lakers and the team will lose their entire fanbase especially after the crap that happened w/ shaq and the lakers. We lose Martin and Scola. But gain a Gasol and cap space. Said cap space can turn into Nene or Marc or a run at DH12 next year!!!!!!! were losing efficient scorers but replacing them w/ a top 15 talent and potential for another big in the paint
