Sure Scola was 17 and 8 or 9 Gashol 20 and 9 not much of a difference but he is taller and better at altering shots I hate the trade but I would still do it
Gasol isn't Dirk. I was stating in the sense that they are both big PFs. Gasol is ridiculously soft. He won't matchup well at all with Centers especially on the defensive end. He is much better off playing PF. Not trying to state Dirk and Gasol are the same player, I understand that is VERY FAR from a reasonable comparison.
I would say Gasol is soft too but he played out of his mind in the playoffs years ago not last year obvioulsy. So benefit of the doubt again.
At first I was like no way do i want the 7 ft ostrich on my Rockets but when i thought about it for a couple of minutes I was like man why wouldnt we want a seasoned veteran POWER FORWARD on this team, but it all depends on what other move we make if any. Once you start making tweeks to this roster you might as well go all out, its not like no one saw it coming we only have new threads about possible trades like every day.
I just have this suspicious feeling that whatever happens, we'll be making a "kiddie-pool" splash... which is not really considered a splash... Morey take off your training floaties... get out of the pool, and do a cannon-ball type splash in the deep end, off the diving board... we have yet to see that from you. Bring on CP3 and Howard!!!
Seriously though nobody thinks Scola, and Martin is to much for an aging Gasol. Will we be more attractive to free agents or mainly star players?
