    You still a Morey-ite??? LOL

Anyways, unless getting Pau means we get to offer a Max to his bro Marc, no way.

Would Pau or Lamar Odom even be happy going to Houston?

Getting older does not equal tanking

Without reading through all 34 pages, it seems to me Morey may be trying to queer a Paul to LA deal under the guise of trying to make one work. That way, once Paul accepts the fact that he can't get to LA with Kobe and Howard, you pitch him on Houston with Howard.

At least, that's what I hope is going on.

Lee is more than capable of stepping in to fill Martin's spot. Not even going to mention defense. And as much as I love Scola doing the argentinian tango, Pau is better. Flynn is a serviceable back up. Now if this trade went thru and we signed a starting caliber center.... Then wow Morey proves once again that MIT don't produce no fools

I like gasol a lot, but we've seen him unmotivated and quiting in memphis. That's why his value was low in memphis. If somehow this is done, that clears the way for the lakers to offer bynum, odom and players for howard. I wouldn't do it.

That deal makes sense if it was for CP3. But since he is going to the Lakers, it's obvious they are adding another player. Otherwise they are essentially getting CP3 for Pau....errr Kwame.

I think we have 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks next year. I don't want to lose any picks, but if we give NYK's first rounder next year then that won't be too bad (they'll have a really good record). There's also the hope that we give a 2013 or 2014 1st rounder instead of a 2012er.

Gasol would help us a ton. Rox fans overrate Rox players, plain and simple.

Morey knows what he's doing. Haven't people figured that out by now???

    That's also the point.

Getting rid of Martin's $10 million frees up cap space to offer Gasol, Nene or Jordan more money.

Are they getting older? Scola and Pau are the same age, and it frees up playing time at the PG and SG position for younger players.

We have too many rotational ready NBA players, we need to clear some space.

I'd rather help facilitate a trade with Boston. If NO wants Lowry + Scola + Green + picks, send CP to Boton, net us Rondo!

It would be hilarious if Morey pulls out at the last second to make the Hornets realize that everything they get for Paul will be from Houston, so why not just trade him here?

Really? I thought Pau made like $18 or $19 million and that would be the same as our guys or close to it.

deal only makes sense if we are also signing Nene... so in essence its Martin/Scola/Dragic and picks for Gasol & Nene, which I dont mind at all

a team trying to rebuild...admitting as much...and trading draft picks and younger guys for a guy on the wrong side of 30?

    holy. crap.

well, at least the beer is cold and the power dancers are nice to look at.

Yeah the 2 1sts and 2 2nds become extraneous since you only have so many roster spots on a team. This isn't like football or baseball.
