Lowry is a ball player. Probably why not getting CP3 doesn't bother me. Gasol AND Odom have to be in this deal. There is no way the Lakers give up JUST Gasol for Paul. The reported deal (by Woj) for Tyson Chandler was 4 years $58 million.... if Tyson Chandler is worth this much, then Sam Dalembert is a $10 million a year player, and Nene and Marc Gasol are max players. Considering that, I think trading Scola and Martin for Pau Gasol is not such a bad deal. Rockets have quality depth at those positions, and it's clear that they must overpay harshly for even a somewhat decent center.
Pull the trigger on the trade for Pau. Then go hard for Nene or Marc Gasol. Getting the Gasol brother's would be pretty cool. Then the Rockets could transfer all of their lost Chinese endourcements from losing Yao to endourcements from Spain.

He is good. A consistent scorer, rebounder, and he gives you a defensive presence inside. His post game, and passing game are excellent. His ability to take over games is weak, and he's soft. My guess is Morey is throwing down Scola on the table. The Hornets likely want Lowry, Patterson, and Lee.
