In that dome, I'd take the Saints ALL DAY. Away from there, I look at them the same way I look at the Ravens. I can't trust them at all. I will say that they COULD beat SF in SF, but not if they get into a fight. Saints going outdoors, away from that fast track in the playoffs? Nahhhhhh. Gimme SF/GB in the NFC title game.
So is this how an addict feels without a fix? Seriously, I'm looking forward to this game so bad that my teeth are starting to hurt.
Sunday can't come quick enough. And Saturday is a let down also. Army-Navy sure, but that's like taking methadone. Imagine if this Saturday was the beginning of a college football playoffs. Top 16 teams. Maybe then I could endure the weekend until kickoff of the Texans game.
Eat 'em up, Kats! But yeah, I agree. In past years, I've looked forward to Texans games just for the unintentional comedy. This year is just a little bit different...
No kidding, last week was rough. Going up against the falcons at home and TJ's first start. Now after a successful game and a chance to break our most wins in a season ever, can't wait.
All I know is, if they reach 10-3 without Mario, AJ, Schaub, Leinart and Hartmann, folks better show some respect to the Houston m-effing Texans.
Texans games didn't lead to any feelings of euphoria in those years, so there was no addiction. This has changed.
I was referring to the Texans and Houston fans' penchant for whining about national "respect". I try to stay out of the Tebow discussions.
I am ready to see the Texans beat up on some people in orange. Win em all! Why not? This is a team that comes to play. Something was missing in the past; maybe it was football god, Wade Phillips, maybe it was more talent, maybe it was maturity, maybe it was a new attitude, maybe it was all of these and more, but whatever it is, let's keep it going. Can't wait.
Good news for us on the injury report: Did Not Participate in Practice: HB Cedric Benson (Foot), CB Nate Clements (Hamstring) Haven't heard about the possibility of Benson missing the game, but Clements is definitely a question mark.
