How so? We'd be trading our two worst defenders and replacing them with two better defenders (Lee & Gasol).
Haven't thought about Okafor... If we giving something to the Hornets, perhaps they are giving something back.
This just doesn't make sense. I can understand adding Gasol to our current group for youngsters and pushing toward a Detroit style contender. I can understand moving Veterans for CP3 in an attempt to get Dwight here, in a sink or swim scenario. Moving veterans for different veterans, why strengthening a rival conference team doesn't make much sense to me. If its our assets netting CP3, he should be coming here, not to LA.
I'd be pretty pissed off if we do Martin + Scola = Pau. Lowry, Lee, Pau, and an average center will not get it done if we're going all in now. Martin is a steady 20+ pts a game with excellent efficiency.
Lee is behind Martin Patterson, whoever is behind Scola Contractwise he moves 2 big contracts which would allow us to get Nene and or Hayes back Perhaps Chandler and IF Paul is not happy in LA land which could be with Kobe possibly falling apart to an extent he won't exercise on the extension and we could sign Paul with Chandler on board Just wishful thinking right now but it aint so bad we keep lowry and gain minutes for our young players Lowry Lee/Bud Morris/Bud Patterson/?Nene?Chuck Gashole/Chandler CP3 Lee Morris Gashole Howard or Chandler or Nene
Damn, K-Mart I don't mind losing.....we can get scoring elsewhere. If we get Nene to replace Scola, the trade wouldn't be bad. Now the rest of the players/picks.....I want to keep those. Scola and K-Mart for Gasol should be enough....
I'm sure there are plenty of teams that are willing to play third wheel, the Rockets are just one of them. These are just rumors, things like this get discussed all the time, the majority of them never come to fruition. I guess I'm just not into the rumor mill discussions, they rarely come out to be true.
More like he's way better without Kobe hogging the ball. LA would have had even more success if some of Kobe's shots went to Gasol.
