Dalembert is a good player. Bad reputation because of his previous contract, and maybe for that reason has become even a little bit underrated. Today he's a better player than DeAndre Jordan, he would help the current team considerably.

 

I think Dalembert will be severly offended by Morey's offer. I think he's looking 10 Mil+ a year, and I think the Rockets only sign him for the MLE if available. Flexibility in contract will be key in signing a second or third tier center and Morey has been upfront about that flexibility.

 

I'd rather a stop gap C than Dalembert. Trade for someone like Ryan Hollins who has a mini-MLE sized contract and has a player option for next season.

Greeeaaattt.... this lockout's version of Shawn Kemp.

The fact that he let himself go when he knew alot of teams with a bunch of cash in their pocket would be pursuing him says alot about whats between the ears.

I read multiple reports the past few seasons that the reason teams like the Rockets and Mavs didnt trade with the 76ers for Dalembert/Iggy Not because of Dalembert's contract. It was reports of his work ethic, and lockroom distractions.

They passed in 2010, they should also pass in 2011.

 

Get Dalembert and flip him for an allstar or superstar!

damn..all signs have us signing Daly...Chandler is a toss up between GSW and Nets..the loser will sign Nene..hope and prayers for Morey's FA center pick up.

 

There are no signs numbnuts, just talks...Dalembert probably wants to get paid more than what Morey is offering so I expect the same roster we have now, maybe with Chuck back.

I agree, 6 in one hand & 1/2 dozen in other

 

the weight issue is what i feared with Dalembert. You simply can't hand over that kind of money to a guy who gives inconsistant effort and has questionable self-discipline. Maybe that's not the full story, but these reports make me very uncomfortable.
