Got an email about it this past weekend. New Additions YouTube HBO GO Verizon & Xfinity VOD (Doesn't Apply to me a Dish customer, But it's still pretty cool I guess) Among Others... I think this is going to be the first time that I'm looking forward to the annoying XBOX Live update. Link
This is what I dont get... i know its cool to be able to use youtube on xbox.... but if you're like me, your PC is always on and isnt far from your Xbox.... I dont have a problem with youtube being computer-only. And when is Netflix not good enough for everyone? I hate when "extras" are thrown in so they can "eventually" jack the price up more when you don't really need or want the "extras"
I'm liking Netflix less and less as the days go by. All of the "new movies" they've been adding areigarbage I've never heard of. As for YouTube; in my household there's 2 PCs, an iPad, two smart phones, and a blu ray player that can access YouTube. Even after all of that I'd still like to have it on my Xbox. My Xbox is on 500,000% more than my blu-ray player, and it has a much better screen than everything else in the house. It makes it much easier to say; "Hey, look at this!".
Looks awesome. Someone posted what it looks like last night. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=211267
I agree. Its gotten to the point where I only watch anime and Asian martial arts films. I think I've seen almost every Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa movie on there and some. Then when I look up movies I really want to see it's always on DVD only
I just went through the update and now I cannot connect to Xbox Live. Reset my system, router and modem. Everything else in the house connects to the Internet fine, in fact when I test my connection the Xbox connects to my network, then the INternet but Xbox Live just won't go through.
Think I just found the fix for it. Somebody told me to go to xbox.com and sign into your account. Then it will prompt you to accept the new Terms of Service agreement. Agree to it, then stay logged in and keep the xbox.com site on. Then I went to my 360 and tried signing in again, and next thing I know it worked.
I've heard from other people that clearing their cache (going to your memory and then pressing Y) worked for them.
I updated this morning and downloaded the Epix App. Didn't work though, something about a server error. I really hate that we'll have to wait for YouTube and HBOGO.
LOL! Same here! I've literally seen every Donnie Yen movie that's on there. I'm currently watching Bodyguards and Assassins. It's pretty ok. The anime selection is pretty large, but it's not really full of quality to me. It's usually one of two things: either is good, but I've already seen it or I haven't seen, but there's a reason why Lol It's all good though, I still have my Walking Dead season 1 to go through....
Is it just me or does it slow down your system ALOT? New ESPN app looks worse then previously and is slower! How is this a good thing?
