Without Scola and/or Pat, we'd be thin at both PF and C. Paul will not be happy playing with Hill, Thabeet, and nothing else.

I thought Donuts was picked around the 23 range.

I'd make the trade as long as it included Scola and Martin only becuase they'd have cleared cap for Dwight and a reconstructed core that we'd more than likely lose from obtaining him.

I'm sure D.More can convince both CP and Dwight that he can build a contender around those two.

Why? We haven't sucked enough to draft real assets. The clippers and GS have sucked enough and are now reaping the rewards of tanking and suckatude.

Of note, source close to Golden State says they were not informed that signing Tyson Chandler would increase chances of keeping Paul.

It obviously makes sense, though, given the dynamic duo of CP3 and Chandler in their younger Hornets days and fact that they're good friends

Which is funny, because the Warriors offer for one doesn't look any special to me.

Curry, K.Thompson and Udoh? You're telling me the Rocket couldn't possibly top that offer?

But, whatever, I'm more than happy with Kyle at the point.

Well, we don't know what the deal would be, but I'm not crazy about acquiring Paul. How many Championships did he win at NO? I really like the way Lowry improved last year, so I would just hope we could maybe get a decent free agent Center and then see how our young guys develop. I'm just not all hung up on getting a "superstar" for one year and then hoping that he loves Houston so much that he wants to stay.

Curry maybe the better scorer but Lowry is hands down the better defender and floor leader.

Klay Thompson? WTF? Don't know anything about him but draft express has him as a "Mike Miller in his prime"? I think Morris would be a better pickup than him.

Also Udoh? I think Patterson has higher upside than him.

I think a Lowry, Patterson, Morris, draft picks would be a better haul than Curry, Thompson and Udoh.

Also they gonna amnesty Biedrens to make room for Chandler?

    Yup, Kyle Lowry>Stephen Curry.

I am amazed that the Hornets aren't considering a package based around Kyle Lowry and Patrick Patterson. Patterson is ready to start NOW...

there you go overvaluing our players again.

Curry has All-star potential and is a phenomenal young player.

Thompson was the 11th pick. great potential.

    Udoh is the only ?

Our players are so underrated that they are valued a whole lot more by our management than any others. Curry gets more 'hype' than Lowry so other GM's may view him higher... or they value scoring at a premium without regard for running a team and leadership.

Curry is only 2 years younger than Lowry BTW.

Lowry hasn't exactly tapped his potential either. He has lots of room to improve. The Grizzlies were dumb letting him go, IMO.

Mike Miller in his prime? That's great potential.

Marcus Morris has more potential than Klay Thompson. How is 11th pick and 14th pick talent that much different?

Damn near impossible to beat that Golden State offer, honestly. Doing that deal would essentially be like hitting the reset button on Chris Paul for New Orleans.

How is the Golden State offer any better than a package of Lowry, Patterson, Morris?

People overrate Curry. He's not that great of a defender.
