I guarantee that GSW WILL NOT trade Curry for Paul without the promise of an extension. So that rumor can be put to rest.

I doubt it. Not Saying warriors will but There is always teams out there who will take them without extension. Look at the nets and Deron Williams.

Don't be a homer, if LA offers Gordan and Jordan, we don't stand a chance.

We simply don't have the "assets" that Morey has accumilated for the past 2 years to get it done.

True, the closest thing we could offer is Martin and Scola. Thinking about it you would still have LEE and Pat at the two and four.

The thing is that Woj's report says that the Clips are not offering Gordon, only Jordan and Minny's 2012 pick (which can be quite good unless Adelman works his magic).

CBSSports and Ken Berger are reporting they will be offering Eric Gordan, Deandre Jordan S&T and Minny's 2012 unprotected 1st rounder.

If the Clips are offering Gordon, they are insane.

And NO would be insane not to take that offer.

No team is going to offer a major piece without a commitment to stay.

We will have a competitive offer and we can sign and pay Chandler, to entice him to stay.

It doesn't matter what your chances are, you still try.

Watching Lowry and Dalembert for the next 5 years does nothing for me. You may be happy with a bunch of try hards, but I want to win.

No team is going to trade a major piece without a contract extension, its not going to happen. Not Curry, not Gordan, not Rondo. Paul just said having Chandler improves the shot that he sticks around. We are the only team that can realistically sign Chandler and trade good pieces to get Paul.

    We have no shot, man.

Face it, we don't have the pieces to make a major move.

Morey is only good at finding cheap, role players. Nothing else.

I like Morey, but we have to know his limits and accept him for that.

    LOL, I'm fake?

How so? I spend my hard earned money every season to watch the Rockets play at the TC.

I love our guys, but question the GM.

    How is that being fake?

If the Clippers offer Eric Gordon even without a CP3 commitment to stay there long term then they are the winners.
If that doesn´t happen, and GSW offers Curry without a CP3 commitment, then they are the winners.

Because both of these will not happen without a commitment, it will go down to who is the GM with bigger balls.

Everything can change if CP3 drops the NYK ball, and commits to one of these 2 teams which I don´t think it will happen.

This is a lot more open then people realise, and please, inform yourself before bringing Melo or Bosh, because those have absolutely no similarities to both CP3 and D12 situations this year.

If Minny's 2012 pick is traded for Howard, I would expect Morey to make a trade with Minny to get them a shooting guard that helps them get to the playoffs and destroys the value of that pick. In fact, even without a trade, I would expect Minny with Adelman and Rubio/Love to make a serious run to a bottom playoff seed.

All of this reminds me of purchasing a car. Lots of money to spend, and you have a bunch of quality, luxury vehicles (Hyundai Genesis maybe?) in Rondo, Curry, Gordon, and Lowry ... All of these vehicles give you the same type of performance ... But forget that, folks want to spend more money on the popular car, the superstar, the Benz. It just sounds better. "All of those cars are great...but they're no Benz!"

Sad thing in investing in a car though: The value of all cars depreciate ... And so do all stars.

And this Benz just happened to have already been in a wreck before purchasing (knee surgery)

Can't blame Morey if/when he doesn't land Paul. NO will "strongly consider" EVERY offer from EVERY team before the Rockets offer simply because their division rivals.
