They would have done it last year if it weren't for all the ups and downs they had to go through with Yao. If they would not have prepared for Yao's return last off season, they would have been last seasons Memphis.

I really appreciate the comments and insults that some of you are leaving, but the difference is you jackwagons have no proof. I, on the other hand, have been presenting facts this whole time. None of you haters have even come close to doing that. Just hearing a bunch of uneducated guesses. Show me facts. Do like i did with the sig.

Because, comedian, like everyone else, i was expecting Yao to play a full season. Don't have to worry about that now.

You're close to DD-est in your argument.

"Not prepared to play without Yao" does not imply this roster is championship ready. If this roster is capable of winning the championship, then whether we are "prepared" to play with or without Yao has no meaning at all.

This "up and down with Yao" thing is a rubbish excuse to say we didn't win a championship.

If this roster can win a championship without Yao Ming, why does it matter whether we integrate Yao Ming or not?

I think you are confusing "uneducated guesses" with common sense.

This core cannot and will not win a playoff series without major changes.

We got new coach. With current roster, we will be lucky to make it to playoff.

The past two seasons they were prepping the team to accomodate Yao when he returns. In each summer there was excitement about the returning of Yao. Even the Brooks situation sorta messed things up with the whole start him, don't start him thing. There were all sorts of distractions over the past 2 seasons. That is not the case now.

Hey, you guys are funny and all, but i am still waiting for the facts to prove that this team will not be better than it was last season. I have done my part.;)

STFU! Your annoyance is almost trollish.

We do not possess the roster to make the playoffs this season.

Get it through your thick skull. We have no superstar nor do we have a center!

You do realize you can't judge a team based on such a small sample size?

WE WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS UNLESS WE MAKE CHANGES!

We almost made the playoffs LAST year, and that included a 0-5 start, the yao ming debarkle and Aaron Brooks stealing Lowry's minutes. Factor in Denver's loss of players to china and the hornets losing west/paul, the chances of the rockets making the playoffs are actually quite high, despite how 'trollish' such an opinion may seem to you.

There is nothing wrong with fans having optimism. Why would people want to come in and be rude to a fan who is expressing their love of the current team?

We need to all be cognizant of the fact that not everyone here is even of age to drive, and as such might not have the same view points as the rest of us, lord knows I forget that often......too often.

2 seasons with the same team getting better results is a good enough sample to make a judgement. Look, i know you want this team to do well, but some of the things that most of you are suggesting would cripple the team at some point. All just to say we have so and so on this team. I understand the allure of having a superstar on the team. This team just does not need a superstar. Especially a superstar PG. Howard i can understand, but he too would gut the team and leave next season.
As far as this team, what you have been seeing is a team that has played hard , but have come up short 2 straight seasons. What i saw was a team that went through a lot for the past 2 seasons and come thru looking very good for a team in their position. A team that, when they are clicking on all cylinders(which usually meant playing better defense), can beat any team out there. Having one of the best records after all-star break thru the end of the regular season showed me that.
