I think he should leave for his own sake. And, I think re-signing him is a concrete indication the Rockets mean it when they say they aren't tanking. So that would be a little disappointing. But, if we're really going for a playoff spot and they convince Hayes to return, that in itself is not disappointing. He's a good player.
I would. Ultimately, he r****ds the growth of our younger players. I like him and appreciate what he has done for the organization this far, but this chapter has to close.
Yeah, you can tell by all the playoff victories we have in the years he has played here. Look, he is a nice player, a good role player, but he has reached legendary status around here for some reason. He is just a nice complimentary piece, not crucial, but nice to have at the right price. And Morey knows this which is why he has not offered him a contract, yet. DD
Can't win with Tim Tebow. Can't win in playoffs with Tim Tebow. Can't win Super Bowl with Tim Tebow. You don't know ****. Your boyfriends Brooks and Wafer are out of the NBA.
I like Tim Tebow, but that is football and irrelevent to the discussion we are having here. And neither Brooks or Wafer are my boys......I did like them when they were here contributing in their roles, but you can't hold on to old food it only grows stale....kind of like you holding on to Shane last year. Notice how our team got better when CBud replaced him in the linuep? No? Huh...wonder why? DD
Our team got better because your boy Brooks got banished. And because Chuck Hayes and Patrick Patterson got Jordan "The Sense of Dread" Hill's minutes. Chuck Hayes brings class, intelligence, leadership and sophistication to the team-- qualities which the likes of you cannot possibly comprehend.
First you lose Jeff Van Gundy which is why you came here in the first place as VanGundier, then you tout the likes of Battier and Hayes, over valued role players when our team is Chuck full of them. Nothing against those guys, they served their purpose and if we had a true alpha dog on this team, they would be great, but we don't, we need to develop players that actually have upside, not players like Battier and Hayes who are Thursday players, because they have already gone over the "Hump day" in what they can do on an NBA court. Now, if there is nothing better out there, and they will take a decent contract, then you set a value and offer it and if they take it great, if not, you offer the gold watch and a pat on the back and you move your attention to 2 way players that may have upside. That is what Morey is doing, get with the program man, you are missing a great show ! DD
Hah, been saying that for years....now we have something we can agree upon.....welcome aboard....take a seat. DD
