Chuck and his agent are doing the right thing. Getting some offers to force Morey's hand. Of course, if Chuck wants to play near home, I wouldn't blame him. And Northern California doesn't entirely suck....if you have the money. I'd rather trade Luis for a first rounder to Sacramento than lose Chuck, although I like Luis. I wasn't on the Chuck Hayes bandwagon til last season but he has really improved.
We probaly gon End gettin up Chandler...OR NENE 1 of THEM FORSURE...Im leaning on chandler morey is gon want to get him...since he's a champion n etc..which morey likes....
WTF for? He is doing his job, making the team better, they may have to let Chuck walk to offer more money to a 2 way player that improves the team. There is no hurry to sign Chuck. DD
This is the part of NBA basketball that I absolutely hate. Chuck deserves a hell of a lot better than being forced to sit on his hands while the Rockets go after every other Center in Free Agency... But that's the nature of the beast. Gotta live with it
Yeah, but as tough as he is, we have been trying to replace him with a better player for years. And if that finally happens, and he has to leave, so what? DD
Chuck deceives to ride in the front of the bus. Morey does not seem to know you can't do this anymore.
Its weird cos Chuck and Lowry are the leaders of this team, I guess that will be hard for Chuck to swallow since Battier, Yao left he has been there the longest serving Rocket and well he does deserve respect. Tough spot the Rockets are in, the max id pay for Chuck would be 3.5 mil per year for 5 years.
Never thought he'd sign there, but with the news of the Blazers not using their amnesty clause on Roy, it's now pretty much down to the Rockets, Kings, T-Wolves & Raptors.
Why would Toronto or Minny want him? edit...and Portland can still use their clause when Roy injures his knee again
I can't speak for Minny, but Toronto was at the bottom of the league defensively last year and didn't always show full effort. Chuck Hayes is a hard working player who defends extremely well. You really can't see why the Raptors might want him?
That is a knee-jerk. Chuck's agent is doing his work like Morey. Chuck alone is not enough to keep us going deeper into the playoffs.
