Double-digit 99er, here. Found the site like most everyone else: by searching for Rockets news. I think I was in the middle of arguing about the never-gonna-go-away Rockets vs. Bulls hypothetical Finals match up, and I was looking for info to back me up. Here ever since.
Nope... Launchpad wasn't my site. That was the Deuce. Mine was a self-titled site that I originally modeled after Clutch Fans '97, but then modified quite a bit after Clutch accused me of copying all his ideas! (this was actually in '96, right after the Rockets acquired Barkley) We were both at the same school at the time, so we swapped some emails where he gave me some pointers on HTML. (seems like we were all just learning back then) The REAL original was Marvin's Rockets Page. It was a mess by today's standards, but that was the guy that probably inspired Clutch to start his.
I was here lurking in '98, but didn't officially register until March of 2000..3 months too late to be considered a "real" 99er I guess..DOH!
I had a different name on .com and I've been lurking here for awhile. Thanks Clutchfans.net team for all you do!

Yep, I missed the February relaunch by a few days because I was working in the UK...and not posting nearly as much. DD
I remember one day I got on the site and there was a poll question along the lines of "Should the Rockets trade Hakeem?". I found that unacceptable. So I voted NO. I voted 1,000 times. I fessed up to Clutch a few years later, and he was cool with it. It made him upgrade the poll so you couldn't vote more than once AND showed I'm a committed die hard fan!
